Who we are:
This congregation is a member of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and is subject to its policy and discipline as expressed in its synodical and district constitution.

What we believe:
1. This congregation believes and confesses that the Holy Scriptures, the Canonical Books of the Old and New Testament, are the Word of God, revealed for the salvation of man and therefore the only source and rule of faith, doctrine and life.
2. This congregation accepts the Apostolic, the Nicene and the Athanasian Creeds, and also the Unaltered Augsburg Confession and Luther's Small Catechism as correct exposition of the teachings of the Word of God, and all preaching and teaching in this congregation shall conform to these confessions.

Our VISION is to be: A loving, thriving community:
Rooted in the Lutheran tradition,
United in worship,
Responsive to the unique needs of all people in the congregation and in the community at large,
Dedicated to growing in Christian faith, hope and love by sharing the gospel daily.
We will achieve this by meeting to grow in faith, hope and love so that we can take a stand and worship Jesus by serving Him.

Our MISSION is printed each week in the Bulletin as “Meet, Grow, Serve, Stand and Worship”. The complete mission statement is, in fact, “Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is a community of Christian believers whose purpose is to provide the opportunity to: MEET Jesus and accept His call, GROW in faith and knowledge, SERVE by caring for the needs of others, STAND with Him to uphold Christian values and WORSHIP only the Triune God with all our hearts and minds.”

Complimenting our vision and mission statements are the GOALS that we adopt as a Congregation, Council and individual Boards. The congregational goals that we endorsed at the August 17th Congregational Meeting were:
Improve COMMUNICATION within the congregation and coordinate activities within Trinity and between Trinity and the community.
Improve PARTICIPATION of the congregation in worship, governance, evangelism and activities.
Improve STEWARDSHIP to a level that provides for both regular operations and growth to serve the Lord.
Improve SUPPORT to various groups within Trinity to foster growth and collaboration.
Improve focus on YOUTH to provide a Christian foundation for transition to adulthood within the church family.
