Saturday July 26, Worship
On the Water Time 7:00PM
Do you enjoy summertime on our lakes so much that you
hate to tear yourself away - for anything? Maybe you will not have to for your
weekly worship time. One Saturday each month during the summer we invite you to
Worship on the shores of Long Lake. Our next Worship on the Water service will
be held Saturday, July 26, Time 7:00PM..Meet at the church parking lot Folks
will be shuttled from Trinity's Parking lot to the service. Bring bug spray a
Lawn Chair and a dessert it desired for fellowship after the service. Social
Ministry will donate coffee and soda. Please call Darleen Borke at 815-385-8029
with your dessert offering. If raining service will be held at Trinity.

Celebration at 8:00 and 10:00 AM services.
HELP WANTED at Trinity Lutheran Youth Services.
Lead Teacher in Kids Klub. Teacher needed for our 1st -5th grade before and
after school program. Prefer experience in licensed facility, requires excellent
communication skills, some necessary college ECE/EDU credit, must be over 21.
Monday-Friday 9am-6pm with benefits or 12pm-6pm. Wages approximately $12-$14/hr
depending upon credentials. We have additional positions available; part time
teachers aide 3-6pm and lead preschool teacher. For application and job

The Entertainment Book Fund Raising Program
Although the 2009 Entertainment Books aren't here yet, we need to start getting feedback from everyone in Trinity as to how many Entertainment Books they will be ordering. Posters will be going up around the church and ordering forms will be included with this issue of the Trumpet and at the Welcome table in the Narthex starting with the first Sunday in July. We need your feedback as quickly as possible in order to make sure we order enough books to meet our initial requirements.
The Entertainment Books will be delivered to Trinity and be available for pick up after services starting in August. And even better, you don't have to wait until 2009 to start saving because the Entertainment Card and almost all of the coupons can be used immediately.
As mentioned in last month's Trumpet, the Entertainment Book will go on sale for $20 which is a discount of $5 off of the regular price. If you wish to prepay by check please write Entertainment Book in the memo portion, insert everything into an envelope and place it in the offering plate or mail it to the church office. The Entertainment Book is:
* Great for travel almost anywhere with great savings on restaurants, snack-shops, shopping, sporting activities and services such as oil changes, dry cleaning, etc.
* Great for gifts for the holidays, birthdays or almost any occasion
* Great for out of town family members and friends because we can order books for most major cities and have them shipped to their home address. However, the price of out-of-town Entertainment Books do vary with the prices available at the information desk.
