Local Outreach
In our Christian mission to serve people’s spiritual and human needs, Trinity reaches out into the community with the love of God through Jesus Christ.
- Christian Outreach of Lutherans In January of 2007, Trinity became the location of Lake County’s (C.O.O.L.) West Food Pantry. The dream to serving the people in Western Lake County who were in need of food began with a study at Trinity of “Forty Days of Purpose.” It was during this study that the congregation took on the project of collecting 250 pounds of food as a community outreach. After collecting well over 500 pounds, the seed was planted, and the C.O.O.L. Pantry satellite was born. Since February, 2007, Trinity has distributed over 60,000 meals.
