Baptisms
To make arrangements for baptism, please contact the pastor at the church office number. The pastor will want to visit with you several weeks before the baptismal date.
Early Communion Classes
Children are invited to begin receiving Holy Communion when they enter the 5th grade. It is a parental decision, with the assistance of the pastor, for a child to begin receiving Holy Communion. The parents, with the pastor will go through an educational process to prepare the child for this new spiritual venture in his or her life.
Confirmation
In Baptism we become members of the Body of Christ, which is the Christian Church. As parents and the congregation promise at Baptism, we are responsible to help the child to understand the meaning and purpose of the Christian faith. Therefore the child will participate in numerous Christian education training opportunities: Sunday school, early communion preparation classes, confirmation, youth ministries, worship attendance, etc. Around the age of 9th grade, the student will be able to participate in a service of “affirmation of faith” and become recognized as an adult member of Trinity's congregation.
Weddings
Members who wish to be married at Trinity should contact the church office and speak with the pastor about their wedding. There is a Trinity Wedding Guide that will assist you in your plans. Normally it is recommended that you contact the church at least six months before your wedding date. Those who are not members of Trinity may also be married at Trinity if they wish to have a Christian ceremony. Fees are explained in the Trinity Wedding Guide.
Funerals --- To make arrangements for a funeral, please contact the church office 847-546-2109 to speak with the pastor.
